About Us
SGUS was established on October 2 2009, in response to the premiere of syfy's Stargate Universe. We started because we felt that 'SGU' is not true stargate. In creating this site we wanted to give people the opportunity to openly express their opinions on 'SGU' and other science fiction shows.
OUR HISTORY: We started off with nothing more than a name and have grown into what we are today. Originally we were on a Google site. As we began to grow we had to move to a provider that had what we needed. Weebly so far has provided that. Thanks to weebly we were able to start our first forum. This forum was provided by Nabble and is still in use today. It is used as an archive. Not long after getting going on there we switched to Vbulliten. Which is what we are currently using.
We have had several bumps along the road, but have managed to overcome them all and are continuing to grow. Eventually our goal is to be the most popular 'stargate' based website online.
